Later on, Penelope has a change of heart especially when she finally confeseed to Cheryl about who the sugarman and how he was a real person that work for Clifford but Penelope turn him into an imaginative in order to protect her and jason from the dark truth. The cheque the St Clairs gave to the blossom in order to silence cheryl when speaking up about Nick St Clair nearly raping her. Another thing she did was throw the cheque in the fire.
